We believe it is important to keep Dunn Lumber a fun place to work and that starts with our employees.Job Description About the Position:Dunn Lumber, a leading retailer of lumber and building materials, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Merchandiser to join our team. As a Web Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the presentation, content, and overall merchandising strategy for our online store. Your primary goal will be to enhance the online shopping experience, drive sales, and maximize profitability. You will also be responsible for making updates to content pages on the website.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Online Store Management: Onboarding new products added to the brick-and-mortar locations to the e-commerce site.

Product Data Enrichment: Creating compelling product descriptions, ensuring accurate product information, and optimizing content for SEO.

Promotions and Campaigns: Collaborating with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, including discounts, seasonal sales, and special offers.

Digital Merchandising: Collaborating with the design team to create visually appealing product detail pages and product listing pages that mirror our brick-and-mortar locations and ensure consistent brand representation.

Website Content Maintenance: Implementing updates to content pages as needed to keep information accurate and relevant. May require some small CMS changes.

Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring sales performance, analyzing customer behavior, and using data-driven insights to make informed merchandising decisions and site improvements.

Competitor Analysis: Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.

Proven experience as a Web Merchandiser or similar role in e-commerce. Experience with a company that has both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar stores is strongly preferred.Skills:Familiarity with SEO principles and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

A passion for e-commerce and staying updated with industry trends.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is subject to very heavy work. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objectsWork Environment:Office-based with some possible travel to Dunn Lumber stores. Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm or 7 am - 4:45 pm in the Corporate Office located in Lake Union.
