SummaryThe Department of Communication seeks qualified applicants to teach one to two courses in the following areas:

Public Speaking and/or Persuasion. Applicants must have experience teaching both courses. As course needs are determined by enrollment, courses are not guaranteed, but the College of Liberal and Education does its best to give adjuncts timely notice of course cancellations.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe chosen candidate will teach Public Speaking and/or Persuasion. The candidate will follow IAI requirements for public speaking courses. Candidates must also utilize Canvas learning management system for grades, course materials, and other course communication. Candidates must be able to teach both in-person and online-only modalities.

QualificationsMA in Communication or related field. Please include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, copy of your unofficial transcripts, and three references. Further materials, such as official transcripts sent from the degree-granting institution, may be requested at a later date.
