Job OverviewThe Tool Repair Expeditor is responsible for accurately processing tools for repair. This position requires attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

A Day In The Life

Responsibilities include receiving and processing all tool repair shipments, matching returned items with their corresponding documentation

Locate and pull stock from our warehouse and other onsite locations to restock and supply our repair inventory

Work with Customer Service and Tool Repair Coordinators to coordinate the flow of returns and repairs as they move through the work cell

Deliver outgoing shipments to appropriate personnel within the shipping department.

Perform routine maintenanceduties such as recycling and waste processing to help maintain an organized and safe work environment

Accesses, inputs, and retrieves data from facility management software such as SAP.

Prioritize and stage repairs for the repair technicians

Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand

Transports materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.

Tracks and monitors materials and jobs on the department work floor.

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or other containers.

Removes damaged and / or unused shipping materials such as empty pallets, wrapping, banding or other packaging materials.

All other duties as assign by the supervisor

Communicate with customers with any issues associated with tool repair.

What will help you thrive in this role?

2-5 years experiencein a manufacturing environment.

General understanding of Microsoft Applications.

Must be detail oriented and self motivated

Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to participate in a team-orientated environment.

Willingness to assist others.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the company.

Basic mechanical experience.

Lifting up to 50pounds

Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
