The Services Social Marketing team is seeking a social media strategist to bring to life the organic social marketing strategy and program for Apple Music. The Social Marketing Strategist - Music will cover owned and operated channels and will collaborate with artist and partner channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about music and culture, has experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives, and knows how to optimally leverage social to tell impactful stories and cultivate an engaged audience.

Description

- Develop social-first concepts, campaigns, and programs that feed into Apple Music's owned social channels as well as artist and partner channels - Lead social briefings for campaigns, formats, and initiatives - Work with multiple cross-functional teams on planning and executing integrated campaigns and projects on social - Evangelize social best practices to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, internally and externally - Demonstrate thought leadership and perspective around best-in-class social trends, ideas, and strategy for key marketing moments such as New Releases, Super Bowl Half Time Show, evergreen Apple Music Radio efforts, and more - Hands-on support for programming and publishing, as needed, across owned social channels - On-call nights and weekends as needed - Manage agency relationships

5+ years experience in digital/social marketing in the music space3+ years managing agencies and vendorsExperience working directly with creators, artists, and other external partners to collaborate on social marketing effortsAbility to understand and use data to inform strategic decisions, including audience insights, platform trends, content performance benchmarks, social listening, etc.Experience working in a multifaceted environmentExcellent storytelling and presentation skillsAbility to work nimbly and navigate ambiguity with confidenceStrong leadership and negotiation skillsAbility to juggle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneouslyExperience working with high-profile talent on high-stakes projects

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $108,200 and $165,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
