Your Role
Aptiv's marketing team is looking for a talented writer and editor to produce clear and compelling articles and white papers about our technologies for an automotive OEM audience. In this role, you will help ensure an authoritative voice in Aptiv's thought leadership materials. Your day to day will consist of the following:
Research and write high-quality white papers and web articles that help establish Aptiv's technical expertise and thought leadershipConduct ongoing interviews with Aptiv subject-matter experts to develop extensive knowledge of Aptiv's technologies and the way we talk about themAdapt messaging for an audience that can range from engineers to purchasers to executivesWork with marketing leads to develop content that supports product launches and pursuit activitiesHelp write and edit content for email and social campaignsAlign content with Aptiv's strategic priorities and key messagesEnsure that content is optimized for search enginesHelp document and maintain style guidelines, brand voice and best practices for writing and SEOWork closely with teams in production, digital marketing and social mediaYour Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
10 or more years as a writer in a content marketing or journalism roleExcellent writing skills with the ability to accurately represent our company voice with intelligence and consistencyUnderstanding of SEO and web traffic metricsExperience with technology topics, preferredExcellent grammar and spelling skillsExcellent multitasking skillsFamiliarity with web design and publishingCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsBachelor's degree in marketing, journalism or relevant fieldAbility to travel (10%)Why join us?
