Overview:Drive store profitability through impactful, and immersive shopping experience encompassing the iconic kate spade new york lifestyle and brand. This role is responsible for instilling brand consistency and standards across multi store area through coaching, training, and development of all store teams. This person is also the ambassador and communicator of global brand messaging and initiatives.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in visual merchandising to...Deliver best in class execution of all in-store visual merchandising for their area and through a partnership with Global VM team.Partner with store teams to act as a liaison of communication between corporate direction and store level execution; this includes weekly and monthly communications as needed.Lead early floorset process in NYC and actively participate in walkthroughs; provide time-sensitive feedback, ideas and solutions to ensure an elevated customer experience and financial ROI.Lead the N/A Addendum in partnership with Global VM Communications, which includes alignment, set up and photographingLead NYC window creative layouts/execution in partnership with Global VM Production and Global VM CreativeJoins channel specific strategy meetings, provides feedback and executes changes based on emerging changes in VM strategy.Partner with regional visual manager to participate in any corporate functions such as; market presentations, showroom setups, and seasonal floorsets as needed.Resolves store specific merchandising challenges that require adaptations based on store architecture, inventory levels, and business trends in line with the global guidelines and seasonal strategies; works "hands on" with store teamsOversee the mapping, planning and implementation of all visual presentations within area.Communicate and ensure completion of preventative store deficiencies (FMO) including; broken/chipped fixtures, paint, facade damages, lighting issues etc.Ensure back of house organization, maintenance, and cataloguing of all visual props, mannequins, and fixtures is being maintained in all stores.Conducts store visits to ensure understanding, compliance, and execution of merchandising and visual standards.Identify Visual Merchandising training and business opportunities and deliver an action plan in partnership Multi Manager.Builds bench-strength by identifying and developing internal and recruiting external talent.Cultivate strong working partnerships with store managers, field leadership, and corporate office.

Physical requirements:Flexible to work weekends and overnights.Able to safely lift/move 50 lbs.Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders.Able to stand and stretch for extended periods of time.Travel up to 75% of the time.Able to travel using various forms of transportation such as airplanes, trains, and buses.
