The community engagement & marketing specialist is a proficient and seasoned expert entrusted with spearheading the marketing strategy for clients.

Their primary objective is to devise creative and effective methods to enhance participation in child nutrition programs through merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives. They demonstrate expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring cutting-edge marketing practices in line with industry standards.

They play a crucial role in promoting child nutrition programs through innovative merchandising, impactful campaigns, and effective communication efforts.

As a Community Engagement & Marketing Specialist, you will assist the operation with engaging with the students, parents, staff, and community, marketing, merchandising, and promotions to ensure superior service and maximize profits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Execute marketing programs in partnership with operators and regional support teams to ensure continued engagement from students, clients, and communitiesConduct a thorough analysis of customer/resident research, current market conditions, and competitor informationAssists in the formulation and execution of marketing plans and projects and effectively manages the productivity and progressRegularly monitors, evaluates, and reports on all marketing activities and outcomesTakes the lead in developing and executing community engagement strategiesTrain and support operators in the implementation of student-facing and front-of-house programs, systems, and processesCustomize marketing materials - e.g. social media posts, flyers, brochures, and client presentations - and coordinate with district communications teams to executeAssess the front-of-house operations for the student experience, operating standards, and signature programs being in place, and work with operators to monitor results and improve over timeCollect data and report on return on investment and key performance metricsCollaborates with schools, parents, and community organizations to organize and promote nutrition education events and workshopsImplements social media strategies to engage with the community, share nutritional resources, and promote healthy eating habits among childrenAssesses the effectiveness of community engagement efforts through surveys, focus groups, feedback collection, and data analysis, and adjusts strategies accordingly to maximize impact

Qualifications
