The opportunitySouthern New Hampshire University's School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE) is looking for candidates to teach on-campus as Adjuncts for our Game Programming and Design courses. You will bring your own industry experiences into the classroom to engage students and lead them toward roles in the video game industry. You will need to relate your career experiences to the lessons being taught in class, and connect with students by sharing your enthusiasm. This opportunity will begin Fall, 2024 on our Manchester, NH campus. Courses are offered during the day and early evening on weekdays. You will report to the Associate Dean for SASE.The following courses are available to teach:GAM110: Game Programming IWhat you'll do:Prep for and deliver content for assigned coursesAccess student work and provide prompt feedbackUse Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the courseWhat we're looking for:5+ years of experience in game or simulation developmentFluent with C#, C++, or a similar programming languageExperience working with Unity, Unreal, and other game development technologiesBachelor's degree in the course discipline or a related field is preferred#LI-OnsiteWe believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.
