Here on the Apple Store Online (ASO) team, we are responsible for Apple's largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer, and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a Digital Content Management (DCM) Solutions Manager to help us do extraordinary things. The DCM Solutions Manager is a position on the DCM Solutions team. This team is responsible for analyzing publishing workflows across all of Apple's e-commerce platforms and uncovering opportunities to increase DCM operational efficiency and agility. As a DCM Solutions Manager, you will apply problem solving skills to make strategic recommendations and advocate for improvements to publishing systems and tools. This role requires deeply understanding DCM's business problems and collaborating effectively with ASO Product & Engineering teams to ensure they are designing innovative and scalable solutions that empower DCM and the broader ASO Operations organization to work productively and efficiently.

Description

Take ownership for identifying DCM's barriers to scaling production operations and ideating on opportunities where technology can dramatically help with solving those challenges. Collaborate effectively with DCM, Product, and Engineering teams to define and implement new systems and workflows that allow the business to scale effectively. - Drive detailed analysis of DCM's global e-commerce content production processes with a laser focus on measuring and trending process efficiency and effectiveness. - Develop and present business problem briefs to influence strategic investments in systems and tools that enable DCM's operations to scale. - Be the voice of DCM on Scale Publishing projects - give input on business requirements and provide our cross-functional partner teams with timely and relevant information to arrive at optimal outcomes. - Plan for and implement testing and change management activities to support business rollout and adoption of new publishing platform capabilities and/or tooling feature changes. - Contribute to and present in Quarterly Business Reviews as required. - Perform ad hoc analysis in support of annual business planning activities.

6+ years of professional experience in retail, e-commerce, operations, and/or project/program management.Dedicated individual with proven business analysis skills: eliciting, analyzing, defining, and prioritizing business use cases and requirements.Deep expertise in leading and implementing change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.Strong collaborator who has demonstrated facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills and the ability to exert tactful influence in a matrix organization.Effective communications skills must be able to summarize and explain (verbal and written) sophisticated information in a clear and concise manner across all levels of the organization including executive management.Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage complexity, and balance competing priorities within a dynamic environment.Experience working with e-commerce publishing platforms and/or applications.Familiarity with software development lifecycle and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive business process mapping experience including facilitation of cross-functional workshops and/or customer focus groups.Experience with survey design principles and standard methodologies.Experience developing relationships with senior collaborators.Solid understanding of project management methodologies, project life cycles, and utilization of project management tools and techniques to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects.BA, MA, or MBA in a related field, or equivalent work experience is desired.Able to accommodate domestic and international travel.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
