PACCAR Winch has an opening for an experienced design drafter to support development of exciting new winches, hoists and drives and provide sustaining product support for BRADEN, CARCO, and Gearmatic products. Reporting to the product release supervisor, this position works closely with engineers, preparing and reviewing drawings and layouts of components and systems, and may contribute to engineering change control processes. Final grade level and compensation dependent on experience, education, and qualifications.Essential Functions / Responsibilities

:Prepares drawings and production release documentationPeer reviews drawings and production release documentationReviews engineering requests for completeness and appropriatenessPrepares layouts and designs which often require use of involved descriptive geometry and trigonometryWorks with engineers to develop new products and revise existing productsSuggests dimensioning and tolerancing schemesPlans and carries out special related assignments or investigations as directedPerforms other related duties as assignedMay process / coordinate engineering change documentationQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferably supplemented by technical training schoolWorking knowledge of 3D modeling in CADWorking knowledge of standard drafting practicesWorking knowledge of descriptive geometry and trigonometryWorking knowledge of Geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ASME Y14.5Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability gained through 7 or more years of experience in related assignmentsExperience with Creo and WindchillExperience managing an Engineering Change Request / Notice Process (ECN)PACCAR Winch promotes diversity and inclusion through mentorship, training, events and internal organizations such as the PACCAR Winch Diversity Council, Winch Women's Organization and the Veteran Affinity Group.
