Responsibilities

The Digital Art and Design Department at New York Tech in NYC is seeking an adjunct faculty to teach asynchronous and online Design and Art History courses to both graduate and undergraduate-level students. The courses will cover design and art history topics, including graphic design, digital art, game design, and animation.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have a Masters Degree in Art History or a related field, and prior exposure to teaching college level courses on this subject.Experience teaching online courses and working with international students is preferred.Candidates should have prior experience in remote and/or online teaching using an LMS such as Blackboard or Canvas (preferred) for course delivery. All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation to teaching technologies, as needed, before the start of the semester.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.

Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.

Minimum Salary

USD $95.00/Hr.

Maximum Salary

USD $104.00/Hr.
