Shift:

8:00am to 4:30pm

Work Model:

Possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work model after six months based on job performance.

Role and Responsibilities:

CW Group is seeking a talented

Proposal Writer 1

to become a valuable part of our Business Development team at our corporate headquarters in New Britain, CT. This position will begin as an onsite role, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work model after six months based on job performance.

Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and create responses.

Prepare competitive proposals and grant submissions for various entities, including federal, state, and commercial organizations.

Collaborate with the Proposal Manager to ensure proposals meet all requirements and incorporate feedback.

Conduct research on competitors and gather information about CW Group's services and programs.

Work with leadership to identify key themes and success factors for proposals.

Develop engaging proposal content, including features, benefits, and graphics.

Approach challenges collaboratively and find solutions as a team.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related field (Preferred)

Experience Requirements

Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in proposal writing or a related field.

Proven track record of successfully responding to RFPs and grants at a federal and state level.

Strong understanding of federal, state, and commercial proposal processes.

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

While performing the duties of this job, the

Proposal Writer

will have to use required technology and electronic devices, sit, stand, and occasionally move throughout the building and travel to local sites. As well as, be required to effectively communicate verbally and in writing (speaking and hearing), fulfilling the job's duties.
