As a Senior Analyst on the Marketing Analytics team, you will help drive the success and optimization of SimpliSafe's diversified media mix and marketing performance.

You'll work closely with the in-house media team to uncover insights to improve our media mix and attribution. The role will be responsible for influencing how we use our marketing dollars to drive business growth, generating media mix scenario plans and diving deep into channel incrementality. You'll also have a unique opportunity to shape our custom attribution model, leveraging best practices and industry research and working closely with the team on pressure testing different measurement solutions.

We're looking for a strategic problem solver that will partner across functions to analyze and guide our media investments with analytical prowess.

Primary responsibilities include:Provide timely insights and analytical support to drive marketing effectiveness and business performance by analyzing spend, site and sales dataMeasure media incrementality and margin through testing and reportingGather and analyze data to provide insights to guide our optimizations, strategic decisions and overall business growthProvide quantitatively-backed recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our total marketing budgetCreate analyses, data visualizations and reporting utilizing tools such as SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other relevant software to effectively convey meaningful insightsCollaborate on defining marketing test strategies across our media mix and synthesize test results and recommendations from test results.Simplify complex measurement outcomes by employing visualization and storytelling techniques for clear and effective communicationWhat You'll BringProficient with relational databases and big data structure. Ability to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and errors, to reconcile data from multiple sources.Strong understanding of performance marketing, campaign analysis and media measurementAble to balance multiple projects and timelines, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a broader teamExceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate to the senior executive levelStrong problem solving skills - including data structuring, quantitative reasoning, and mathematical analysis to examine and interpret data.Ability to concisely explain complex analytical findings to non-analytic peersNatural curiosity in the intersectionality of marketing, media and consumer behaviorWhat we're looking for:

3+ years of marketing analytics experience, preferably involving digital media channels4+ years of hands-on experience of data analysis, using quantitative analytics tools (SQL, Python etc.)Advanced knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools, to create and maintain tracking of key operational metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholdersAbility to derive insights from large datasets and present findings to cross-functional audiencesStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersThe ability to think strategically and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWhat will make you stand out:
