Community ManagerLocation: LafayetteSalary:MinimumBase $40,000Position Type: Full-Time, Salary-ExemptRole and ResponsibilitiesParamount Schools of Excellence, PSOE, is a growing network of top-ranked charter schools across Indiana. The Community Manager's duties are multifaceted, with responsibilities in the execution, coordination, and monitoring of PSOEs enrollment and public relations efforts. All actions in this job support the ongoing goal of increased enrollment and engaging/retaining current families. Applicants should be energetic and outgoing with excellent verbal communication skills.The duties of the Community Manager include:Organizing and running School Community Organization meetings.Being an ongoing presence in our school community through attendance at sporting events, musicals, neighborhood happenings, and other events in the wider community where school involvement may be beneficial.Engaging with school families on every level, learning the needs of school families, and working to support families and help them feel connected to their school.Act as an extension of the schools by leading enrollment campaigns and ensuring school enrollment at Paramount is consistently elevated for local clientele.Make phone calls to school parents and families to increase enrollment numbers and retain current families.Distribute marketing collateral for student recruitment that aligns with Paramounts brand(Brochures, flyers, postcards, billboards, programs, and ads).Promote student enrollment at local events, fairs, and high-traffic destinations.Assist in enrollment efforts in Enroll Indy and/or for the location in which the individual works.Track and report enrollment efforts and analytics.Build strategic partnerships with press outlets, influencers, and community partners to grow brand notoriety.Assist in enrollment-related social media work on the schools social media platforms.Develop new content regularly that highlights school activities and positions Paramount positively among community influencers, school families, and potential parents.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent required. College or technical experience preferred.Strong public relations or community outreach experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion, idealism, integrity, grit, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.Preferred Skills Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time with a strong attention to detail.Knowledge of current community challenges and opportunities relating to the mission of the organization.Additional NotesWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
