We are one of the fastest growing brands in consumer goods and collectibles industry and we are looking to add an additional Staff Designer to our rapidly growing design team. This Staff Designer will design products and will run the product design process from concept through production.

This is a hybrid role based out of the El Segundo, Ca office with two-three days on site at the office.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hands-on design and development of products and collections of products in a wide range of products and collectibles categories from concept to production• Develop accurate 2D and 3D product specifications and designs, with orientation to meet target costing while delivering against brand, safety, and manufacturing needs and expectations• Project manage design and development of products from concept to production, prioritizing multiple products and projects at any given time while efficiently delivering milestones, on-time• Present products and product lines to executives and other stakeholders internally across the organization; take direction and feedback from stakeholders and execute against directives• Review and provide comments on manufacturing drawings, CADs, and vendor prototypes and samples• Communicate extensively throughout the design process with internal and external resources, including designers, product development and engineering personnel, and vendor/factory partners• Identify core market comps for brands and lines and conduct basic market research

• Strong organizational skills• Excellent ideation and conceptual skills• High-energy, motivated to take ownership and deliver good work for its own sake• No-drama collaborator that contributes and takes accountability within a team environment• Able to work effectively with limited direction and zero micromanagement

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of collectibles/consumer product design experience• Project management training• BFA or equivalent degree in Industrial or Product Design
