A24 is looking to hire a Production Finance Executive to support our TV division. As a key member of our production team, this role will be involved in all aspects of production finance from development through post production. This role will work closely with the Production, Post, and Creative teams, as well as the Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Business & Legal Affairs teams to ensure that A24 production finance procedures are adhered to, accountants are onboarded properly onto A24 systems, and both internal and external studio responsibilities are handled with care.

Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.This role will work from the office at least 3 days a week, and can be based in our New York (Manhattan) or Los Angeles (West Hollywood) location, with a preference for LA.Initial ResponsibilitiesAct as point person and work closely with internal cross functional teams for project specific accounting and finance information in the form of maintaining and sharing information and reportsProactively maintain and administer production finance infrastructure and systems in advance of productions starting in the form of location specific infrastructure requirements, ATL payment schedules, production cash flow exposure, etcLiaise with A24 producing partners’ production finance & accounting teams as it relates to receiving reports, invoicing, cash flow, tax credits, etcManage the accounting staffing of assigned projects during development, prep, production and post productionOversee on-set accounting responsibilities such as accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, etc. for full lifecycle of projects (early prep, development, writers room, post production, and delivery)Providing guidance and oversight to on-set accountants during production, as it relates to onboarding, introducing processes, and sharing accounting manuals and templatesTrack and process any studio based delivery payments and fees to talent and partnersOversee the accounting wrap and delivery process for production and post productionManage various audits including tax credits, insurance claims, union audits, and partner specific auditsIdeal Candidate6+ years of previous experience with production financeExperience working in-house for a studio or production company in a production finance / accounting roleExperience working with production accounting softwares and Movie Magic BudgetingBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field preferredMotivated self-starter skilled in multitasking, time management, and strong organizational skillsAdvanced knowledge of ExcelHumble, diligent and resourcefulWe are looking for diverse perspectives. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
