This senior-level role is responsible for leading development of strategic brand voice guidance for Amazon Devices and Services, developing messaging frameworks for core Devices brands, and driving consistent execution of content across multiple channels and segments.

This individual will work cross-functionally to create a cohesive content ecosystem that engages target audiences, drives desired actions, and lands Amazon parent brand and Devices and Services sub-brand strategies across marketing and communications efforts. The Content Strategist will leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize the content portfolio and ensure maximum impact.

This role will work closely with Brand Strategy, Creative Direction and Product to create frameworks and mechanisms that drive consistency across the entire customer funnel, across all audiences. This role will be responsible for and drive stewardship of brand voice and copywriting strategy and guidance.

The successful candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and navigating cross-functional stakeholders, with strong attention to detail, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities-Implement a content governance framework to maintain consistency, quality, and relevance across all content assets-Create and maintain brand voice guidance that intersects the Amazon parent brand guidance with Devices and Services sub-brands to drive a consistent voice across the brand portfolio-Taking core positioning from brand strategy, this role will further progress the messaging framework to support a range of engaging storytelling content across multiple channels-Develop mechanisms to optimize handoffs between strategy, creative, and other core teams involved in GTM development-Collaborate closely with brand strategy, marketing, communications, product, and creative teams to ensure seamless brand voice integration and content consistency-Collaborate with brand strategy, marketing, product, and subject matter experts to define content goals, themes, and messaging that resonate with the target audience-Analyze content performance data, identify trends and insights, and make data-driven recommendations to continuously improve the content strategy-Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, emerging content formats, and relevant technology tools to enhance the content experience-Using both internal and external AI tools, develop ways to scale the copywriting capacity in the Devices organization-Develop a content strategy and editorial calendar that outlines the types of content to be created, distribution channels, publishing cadence, and measurement criteria-Champion a culture of content excellence, providing training and guidance to cross-functional teams on content strategy principles and frameworks

About the teamThe Devices Brand Studio is the creative studio within the Devices & Services organization at Amazon. We deliver creative and design for product launches, events, and marketing campaigns.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- -Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs- -Exceptional strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful, innovative experiencesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
