What You'll Do:Foster and develop a highly effective team where accountability and clear communication is demonstrated dailyMentor and train your team by performing regular check-ins, discussing career growth opportunities, giving constructive feedback, and managing conflict when necessary

Responsible for the development and implementation of a global and regional events calendar, ensuring resources are utilized in a manner that provides the greatest return to the organizationEnsure all events are planned in conjunction with the corporate objectives and capture the attention of the intended audience and mediaManage the execution of each event, ensuring all details are implemented in a creative, timely and cost efficient mannerDevelop marketing programs at a regional and global level that address key target markets, customers and stakeholders, including online and offline materials, events, etc.Direct the collateral development program, including the writing and coordination of all promotional documentation including: brochures, marketing slicks, videos, presentations, online marketing tools, giveaways, sales materials, partner materials, etc.Manage and execute projects and marketing plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leadsCoordinate partner fulfillment programs with outside suppliers and manage marketing campaignsMaintain financial reporting, purchase orders, and budget summariesProvide support to partners for tradeshows and events, including providing graphics, collateral, promotional items and multimedia assets as neededBuild strong working relationships with company executives, Marketing/Sales/Business Development teams, vendors, agencies, and Iridium partners to develop integrated marketing programs across the organizationPrepare project/status reports and managing logistics for global tradeshow/events

Experience & Education Requirements / EEO

What You'll Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field8+ years of demonstrated experience in event production and coordination, showcasing a track record of successful event executionPrevious management experience requiredStrong knowledge of event planning concepts, principles, and practicesAbility to stay current with industry trends, best practices, and benchmarksCapable of being a strong motivator and source of direction for your team and role modelling commitment to your team's goalsA "roll up the sleeves and get it done" approach; must be able to work independentlyExcellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues to groups outside of your teamPossess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions or come up with out-of-the-box solutionsBe proactive in providing feedback and be enthusiastic in sharing your knowledge with othersHave confidence and be able to establish valuable relationships with othersMust be able to prioritize key tasks and have a strong sense of ownership over your workBe active in seeking out ways to continuously improve yourself and gain new knowledgeWe'll also need you to:Be able to travel up to 25%, including international travel

Be able to work in the office at least 3 or more days a week to foster collaboration with the team and stakeholders

Work Environment:

This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. For meetings in-person, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
