team!The Design Manager II reports to the Terminal Refresh Project Manager and is responsible for the delivery of all Terminal Refreshes and the CTA designs performed by various designers under different contracts. These scopes are a combination of small interior renovations, departure level curbside upgrades and the creation of a warm vanilla shell. The characteristics of the candidate shall include experience within large campus environments (aviation, transportation, higher education campuses, etc.). The individual shall be driven to support the design team and its leaders in their efforts and be proactive in expressing opinions of perceived betterment for the greater good of the project.Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, and/or related field10 years or more experience in managing the design of large, complex building projects, utilities and infrastructure improvements, preferably on airport projectsDesign management of complex aviation improvements experience requiredExperience managing a team of design professionalsExperience with projects more than $100 million in value.Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/BuildProven ability to perform in a management capacityExperience in BluebeamPreferred Qualifications

Ability to work in CAD or REVIT a plusCommunication and organizational skills to be collaborative with many data points and people is highly desirable.Duties & Responsibilities

Monitoring permitting information and the permitting process required by the design teamSupporting the project manager to ensure design reviews are completed on time and within budgetDeveloping and maintaining the project scope tracker to verify that all scope elements are accounted for and have been or will be assigned to a projectProviding guidance related to the functional requirements contained in the technical specifications or other project documents supplied by the clientMonitoring BIM productions of all designers and contractors according to client BIM Standards, the BIM Execution Plan, and needs of the Terminal Refresh project.The Terminal Refresh Design Manager is responsible for working with client's Central Building Information Management (cBIM) to develop the strategy for BIM implementation and reviewActing as technical liaison for the design review processes and comment resolution in coordination with the project manager and the Design Review Team (DRT)Providing technical support and coordination between the project team and other TDIP project teams for program consistency across all disciplinesProviding technical Support for adjacent client projects as required to ensure accurate interfaceProviding technical coordination for project consistency across all disciplinesPreparing and reviewing briefings, meeting agendas, and supporting materials for various meetings including Board presentations, Steering Committee meeting, Stakeholder outreach, and other TDIP meetings$121,000 - $140,000 a yearPay may be more or less dependent on education, skills and experience We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
