SNI has partnered with a reputable Manufacturing company in New Haven county looking for a Senior Mechanical (CAD) Designer to join their team.
Role Overview:
Join the R&D team to handle electromechanical design, drafting, and documentation for Medical devices used in preclinical cancer research.
Duties:Design mechanical and electromechanical systems for X-ray products.Create design drawings and documentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Focus on manufacturability, serviceability, and cost-effective solutions.Manage projects, support procurement, and work with suppliers and contractors.Collaborate with a technical team to innovate system solutions.Perform additional duties to meet company goals.
Qualifications:Proficient in CAD, FEA, and simulation tools (e.g., Solidworks).Experience with design documentation and quality systems (ISO 9000/13485).Knowledgeable in materials, production processes, and cost optimization.Strong communication skills.Occasional travel (up to 5% annually).Benefits:Health, Vision & Dental InsuranceEmployee Engagement EventsMatching 401k Plans
