Job Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining Lam's site plans and building drawings, including electrical, mechanical, piping (plumbing, process, etc) and evacuation mapsMaintains a centralized document management system, including electronic document repositories and physical filing systems, to organize and store documents securelyUpdating and adding new CAD drawings provided by the Construction or Engineering teamsCreating and modifying detailed drawings using CAD from sketches, layouts or notesChecking for correctness and conformance to standardsAssisting in future CAD integration with Tririga Facilities Integrated Workplace Management System; Developing and implementing document control processes and procedures to ensure the accurate creation, revision, approval, and distribution of all documentsOther Job Responsibilities
May work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storageCalculating dimensions, weight limitations, and measurements for designsCollaborating with the design team to review drawings and designsEnsuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standardsMinimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a similar fieldMinimum 2-4 year's experience as a design drafter/document control specialistWorking knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and 3D modeling toolsExcellent knowledge of architectural and engineering design principlesThe ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standardsAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, implement solutions, and drive process improvementsPreferred Qualifications
