Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range vary as per level: $30 - $50/hour on W2

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will support the new Enterprise Decision Support and Data Governance (EDGE) organization. This organization is a compilation of months of work to define how the functional team and business will work, what roles each team will play and how to engage both organizations in support of the Chief Data Officer (CDO) positioned in the business. This position will help advance the Data Management and Data Analytics strategy by increasing our capabilities to deliver rapidly, efficiently while providing excellent value for the organization.
The UI/UX Developer will work with stakeholders - both business and IT to design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our Proof of Concepts (POCs) in the gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to transform complex requirements into seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
Work closely with the AI team, product managers, and developers to understand project requirements, user needs, and business goals. User Research:
Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights, understand user behaviors, and pain points. Wireframing and Prototyping:
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. UI Design:
Design high-fidelity user interfaces using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, ensuring a consistent and engaging visual style. User Testing:
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs. Design Systems:
Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all POC projects. Collaboration:
Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and maintain the integrity of the user experience.
Stay Updated:
Keep up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure our designs are cutting-edge and competitive.
Skills: o Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and Invision. o Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design. o Experience with user research methods and usability testing. o Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus: o Experience in the energy sector or with AI applications. o Familiarity with front-end development technologies (Angular, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
