Product Designer (HCIT SaaS)

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Product Designer to join our collaborative design team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by designing innovative and user-centric digital products.As a Product Designer, you will own design projects from concept to launch, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Day-to-day you’ll work closely with a Product and Engineering manager to deliver solutions that balance business needs, feasibility, and user experience.You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders in Customer Success, Implementation, Engineering, Product and Marketing to validate solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces leveraging and building upon our design system.Create interactive prototypes to test, iterate, and refine design concepts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and clinicians to define product requirements and design objectives.Develop high-fidelity visual designs for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and coherence across platforms.Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and data analysis.Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare software design.Champion a user-centric design approach, advocating for the needs and preferences of end users throughout the product development lifecycle.Collaborate closely with other designers working on interconnected projects happening in parallel.Please be ready to Submit a portfolio to showcase your work!RequirementsExcellent Communication and Collaboration Skills:Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, especially demonstrating emotional intelligence.Practice humble, productive collaboration, driving towards the best solution possible, understanding when and how to effectively compromise.Understand how to “negotiate” with engineering constraints and iterate on a solutionCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and user needs.Proactive management and communication of projects3+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering successful products.Experience in healthcare or related industry.Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design.Desire to work in a growing tech startupSoftware Tool Proficiency
