Position Summary

Assumes responsibility for overseeing the development and execution of an integrated, multi-channel marketing strategy that supports institutional priorities and promotes the college to prospective students, parents, alumni, donors, the campus community and the public. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.

Hiring RangeBudgeted starting salary is $50,000 to $57,336, depending upon experience

Description of Key ResponsibilityManages all aspects of strategic marketing collateral development as directed by annual plans developed by the college and the Office of Marketing and Communication and ENHP and Graduate and Professional Studies. Establishes, cultivates and effectively collaborates with internal and external constituencies in an effort to conduct research, identify photography and collect supporting assets for creation and update of recruitment publications, social media, e-communications and website content.Executes and oversees marketing communications plans in support of strategic initiatives of the college and the University. Serves as the lead project manager for marketing materials and collateral, from concept through production. Facilitates the concept, design and execution of strategic recruitment and other communications in alignment with institutional, campaign and admission cycles. Reviews and communicates content, design and layout in an effort to comply with established institutional policies and brand guidelines. Proactively sets and maintains the production schedule for recruitment and promotional efforts. Works with the media and editorial team to proofread all stages of production and ensure corrections, updates and changes are incorporated into the final copy for a high-quality product.Proactively sets and maintains the production schedule for recruitment and promotional efforts. Identifies creative, copywriting, editing or other needs as necessary and appropriate. Effectively communicates expectations regarding content and design of publications and websites as well as quantities and deadlines and follows production through to completion within established timeframes.Actively participates in market research responsibilities including, but not limited to, advertising, marketing and media opportunities in an effort to expand the visibility of the school. Develops and manages content for social networks, UNotes and regional and national media outlets which positively position the University. Serves as Hartt's web content manager. Identifies and develops feature stories and promotes student and faculty accomplishments including, but not limited to, honors, nominations and awards, consistent with the institutional mission and vision for the University website, H Magazine and social media. Plans, oversees and supports events which promote and enhance the school and support strategic initiatives and long-term goals. Promotes collegiate events by confirming up-to-date information and effective event descriptions are strategically positioned on the college and University websites as well with local industry community partners.Tracks, evaluates, and reports on marketing activities for effectiveness using measurable goals and outcomes. Recommends and adapts strategies and procedures for future planning and goals. Maintains enrollment trends and provides survey data for the college as necessary and appropriate. Keeps abreast of industry trends, serving as a resource for the department's multimedia content as well as ideas and improvements for digital presence.Performs other related duties as assigned.
