Job Description
The overall objective of this role is for the Marketing Intern to be an adventurous photo/video digital marketer who strives to elevate our brand experience on a daily basis and push the envelope of creativity with insights and ideas. We are looking for someone who is social media savvy, a confident writer and communicator, outgoing and innovative, and able capture photos and videos that help tell a story, while assisting with various objectives and working closely with Aramark?s Customer Experience Manager and Marketing Team.
Job Responsibilities
Utilize design skills to produce highly complex operations, and marketing support materials
Develop ideas and concepts for a variety of communication channels, including but not limited to flyers, posters, signage, point-of-sale materials, websites, social media, and presentations
Ensure Bama Dining identity, brand voice high-quality, photographs, proper grammar, message consistency, and accurate content for all projects. Maintain quality throughout draft, editorial, and production phases.
Works independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team(s), meeting deadlines, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include simultaneous projects
Have a creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines
Light office work
Assist in content creation for Bama Dining social media platforms.
Qualifications
Sophomore classification or higher at The University of Alabama
Effective communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in written form in English
Ability to work 10-20 hours per week.
Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to customer experience
Support customer experience strategies and perform duties accordingly
Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge in Graphic Design programs such as Canva, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word a plus
