Job Description
A client in the Lakewood, CO area is looking for a Category Lead within Professional Services & Marketing to join their team. This candidate will be a demonstrated professional within procurement or category management, supporting an enterprise level environment and leading efforts within sourcing, contract management and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a leader that understands how to support various categories of spend and develop business requirements into strategy for Sales, Marketing, and professional Services. They also will have a comprehensive understanding of contract management and negotiation as it pertains to procurement/vendor relations. This candidate will be able to work onsite in a hybrid work environment and require 2-3 days onsite a week. The salary range for the opening - $96,600 to $120,800 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Target Bonus on Base: 10%.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred)
8 years of experience in procurement or category management in an enterprise level environment or multi-national company, leading efforts for sourcing, contract management and process improvement
Experience managing and supporting various categories of spend within marketing, professional services, or sales departments
Ability to understand and develop business requirements to create category strategies based on analytics
Demonstrated negotiation capabilities - CPSM. CPM, CPP, CPIM or other procurement related certification
Experience supporting multi-national company null
