We’re looking for an amazing Marketing professional to fill this hybrid role, which is based in our Seattle office. As Specialist, Direct Mail Marketing you’ll take a lead role in developing and implementating direct mail marketing assignments for brand and product promotion needs. This includes executing end-to-end direct mail projects by collecting input from Revenue Management to initiate the project with the direct mail agency; managing the proofing process to include distributing to all stakeholders, making decisions on input that is consistent with the Seabourn brand, proofing the project to ensure accuracy according to the Proofing Checklist Guidelines, and obtaining all approvals on images, copy, itineraries, maps, pricing, offer, and terms & conditions. You’ll work cross functionally to ensure direct mail projects are completed on time and on budget. You’ll also collaborate with the Manager, Direct Mail Marketing to identify and implement best practices in marketing communications and project management. You’ll also assist with other projects to support the brand communications team as needed.

Responsibilities

Proof all documents to ensure accuracy according to project input, specifications, and brand standard guidelines. Review copy to ensure clear communications and brand consistency.

Work with Revenue Management and other stakeholders to gather input provided to agency partners that is accurate and complete to maximize efficiencies to produce direct mail communications to past guests, prospects, and travel advisors

Help drive optimal direct marketing communications effectiveness through testing, measurement, tracking, ROI analysis and reporting. Assist in determining testing matrixes, optimization techniques, and developing best practices procedures.

Manage the involvement of key stakeholders required for input, proofreading and approvals.

Maintain direct mail production schedule and status on project schedules.

Obtain project estimates from vendors, ensures internal approvals of costs, and updates budget reporting mechanisms.

Open and received purchase orders in accounting system for job costing.

Assist with additional Branding, Trade, and Sales projects as needed. Additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

2-5 years of work experience in fast-paced agency or in-house direct marketing group in account service or project management capacity.

2+ years of managing direct mail programs.

Strong knowledge of direct mail best practices.

Understanding of print/paper buying, printing process, lettershop, and postal compliance, preferred

Attention to detail, while still seeing the big picture.

Strong prioritization, organization and project management skills.

Creative, planning, and conceptual skills.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM software.

Communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively.

Time management and planning skills.

Strong written and oral skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

Excellent teamwork, communication and time management skills.

Knowledge of travel/hospitality industry a plus.

This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must will willing to work in office three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday

Base Salary Range: $59,200-$79,900. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base pay is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
