We are changing the way our military works – from strategic commanders overseeing multiple missions to forward-deployed operators controlling autonomous systems. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the entire lifecycle of design for mission-critical features and end-to-end workflows. You will have an immediate impact on real-world operations as you design novel interactions which push the bounds of human-to-machine control. From customer immersion to synthesizing feedback, cross-org collaboration to shipping high craft experiences, you will leverage design thinking to solve challenging problems in complex scenarios. Our design principles revolve around trust, safety, and intentionality. These principles guide our work, shape feedback in critiques, and define the bar we hold ourselves accountable to. The centralized Product Design team is structured around two overarching areas of focus: core platform and strategic pursuits (verticals). This role will partner closely with vertical teams and its customers touching on all-domain command & control, in-vehicle experiences, submersibles, autonomy, and more.WHAT YOU’LL DO

Contribute to the overall direction and decision-making for product and design strategy.Own all aspects of design execution from discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and implementation.Use storytelling to align and bring stakeholders along in your design process.Play an influential role in shaping the end-to-end experiences for critical operator workflows.Maintain a high bar for craft driving novel experiences at the edge and bringing back the results to evolve the underlying platform experience.Balance short-term tactical bets while making meaningful progress towards long-term strategic pursuits.Help to shape our ways of working as a centralized product design function operating in a fast-paced environment.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of industry experience.High attention to detail and mastery of visual & interaction design craft.Ability to clearly articulate the why, process, and impact of your work.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Facilitation skills to lead discovery workshops with customers and/or cross-functional stakeholders.Familiarity leading user research sessions to validate your work.Opinionated about design operations and efforts to increase team efficiency.Demonstrated proactiveness in helping to shape team culture and mentorship participation.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearanceBENEFITS

Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
