Visual Information Specialist (Graphic/Photo/Video design)

Passionate about all things visual? Use your skills to help protect public health!Designing layouts for publications, fact sheets, posters, and other visual materials.Conceptualizing, designing, creating, and editing professional, detailed illustrations, charts, graphics, motion graphics, modern videos (including animation), 3D images, and sketches.Using computer systems and software programs to electronically generate visuals and enhance photo and video images.Advising customers on the technical advantages and disadvantages of various formats, styles, media, and methods of reproduction to best meet the objectives of each project.Independently evaluating work projects for proper selection of medium, software, equipment, procedures, and digital imaging techniques.Produces creative graphic design work in conjunction with scientists, veterinarians, administrators, and other staff to create visual forms that convey intended messages to audiences through illustrations, websites, infographics.Creating storyboards and scripts, and shooting and editing videos for use on digital platforms.Other duties as assigned.
