POLITICO’s Media Solutions team is seeking a Business Development Associate. As a Business Development Associate, you would play an integral role in identifying and contacting future Media Business clients.

Media Solutions is POLITICO’s advertising team that works directly with clients to reach core influencers via online advertising, brand storytelling, and live programming. Our team is composed of unique individuals from diverse backgrounds drawn to developing consultative and strategic partnerships.

What You'll Do:

Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats with knowledge and efficiency

Identify and address customer needs, with a goal of total satisfaction

Provide expert answers to questions about POLITICO Media Solutions products, pricing, and availability while presenting the value of our product portfolio to customers

Meet sales targets, generating leads, setting up client calls for sales partners, and identify opportunities when they arise

Follow company guidelines and procedures for communications with minimal supervision

Recommend improvements to company processes for efficiency

Maintain daily recordings and documentation of sales related activity in Salesforce CRM for sales and executive management teams to review

What You'll Need:

1-year of professional experience

Strong client service ethic

Willingness to learn and adapt quickly

This role is based out of New York, NY. The anticipated salary range for this role is $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year.
