Marketing Manager - Foodservice

Summary:The marketing manager is a critical customer-facing role that drives tactical execution of the strategic marketing plan for the Foodservice Sales Channel. Reports to the President of Foodservice.Job Responsibilities:Performance management of one marketing specialist that is accountable for developing and assigning qualified leads to the sales team and supporting flawless trade show execution.In-house channel, consumer, and product trend-ologist with ability to translate into actionable insights for customers and prospects.Conduct research and develop customized presentations to support sales calls and prospect outreach.Present data to customers and prospects alongside sales representatives.Own all existing marketing collateral and ensure accuracy and update as needed in a timely manner.Manage digital assets and pitch templates on sales enablement platform.Develop new marketing collateral and resources for sales, key accounts, and prospects.Manage current key customers to increase lifetime value, monitor churn rate.Support marketing campaign development and execution including advertising, social media, and website.Contribute to the development and launch of email marketing programs via in-house CRM.Tradeshow planning, support, and execution.Support the annual planning and budgeting process.Manage marketing specialist role and oversee smart target prospecting initiatives.Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Javo and FFP portfolios.RequirementsQualifications, Skills and Experience Desired:5-7 years of marketing experience in the foodservice industryEstablished relationships with foodservice focused marketing and advertising agencies and the leading industry trend and insights data providers including Technomic, Datassential, Crest/NPD, etc.Experience in presenting to the leading commercial restaurant, convenience, and noncommercial operators.Experience in working with the leading broadline distribution accounts including Sysco, US Foods, PFG, McLane, Unipro, Frosty Acres, etc..Must present and communicate in a professional manner.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications with strong PowerPoint skills.Experience working with Salesforce preferred.Experience with Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite, Account Engagement and Highspot a plus.Comfortable with shifting priorities and a fast-paced environment.Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.Consistent and exacting attention to detail.Quick, agile, and calm problem-solving skills.Strong strategic-thinking and project-management capabilities.
