Operating as an individual contributor, this role directly reports to the Director of Product Design. The position involves a deep understanding of our business requirements, adeptly maneuvering through technical limitations, and skillfully choreographing the holistic functional design of our products. The overarching goal is to ensure an unparalleled user experience and attain a sophisticated design elegance.Responsibilities:
Support the design process working collaboratively with product managers, delivering well-considered solutions that cater to both consumer and enterprise needs. These solutions should align with business and product objectives, enrich customer value, and invigorate the entire teamCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow design leads, contributing from the initial idea stage to project execution, across new and ongoing initiatives within the platformTransform abstract concepts into tangible user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that culminate in user-friendly and intuitive experiencesEnvision and steer the ways in which our customers engage with our product and interact with our brand.Employ a user-centric design methodology, taking the initiative to organize and facilitate user testing sessions, and subsequently conveying the insights gained to the teamEngage in productive collaboration with various stakeholders to gather input and refine your prototypes, thus contributing to the determination and enhancement of features and prioritiesFlourish in a cooperative, dynamic, agile environment with rapid development cyclesGuide and mentor junior members of the design team, imparting knowledge of best practices in front-end developmentUndertake strategic decisions regarding design and user experience, influencing the development of core functionalities and innovative featuresDemonstrate a penchant for insightful inquiries, calculated risks, and the advocacy of novel conceptsRequirements:
2-5 years of hands-on experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or Interaction Designer, or in similar rolesBachelor’s or higher degree in Human Factors, Interaction Design, CS, or a related fieldUnderstanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologiesExperience with Design System development, management and implementationProficiency in both qualitative and quantitative user research methodologiesCapability to independently steer the design process and execute substantial feature implementationsStrong ownership mindset, coupled with exceptional communication abilities, underscored by a deep commitment to achieving outstanding outcomesBackground in modern web and/or mobile UX designProfound experience in the realm of Conversational AI and multi-modal user interactionsMastery-level proficiency in utilizing diverse prototyping and design software toolsNoteworthy portfolio showcasing a rich array of work, demonstrating advanced aptitude in user-centered design thinking and creative problem-solvingSkill in conveying abstract concepts effectively to a diverse array of pivotal stakeholdersWillingness to embrace feedback and constructive critique, fostering a continuous improvement mindset
