Web Developer for our CAA Technology team . Provides leadership in developing managing, and executing web-based Drupal and WordPress infrastructure and designs for all units in the College of Architecture, Design and the Arts (CADA). Offers technical expertise for web systems and equipment configurations, encompassing implementation and maintenance of web systems and software components. Assists in developing and accessing components, recommends optimal configurations, and provides technical guidance on methods, performance standards, security measures and systems analysis.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, performance, and usability.Collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure the website meets organizational goals and is aligned with the overall digital strategy.Maintain websites and web servers with security updates, patching, backups, optimizations, memory utilization , management, and other necessary maintenance tasks as needed.Manage the deployment of new servers and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development processes.Develop and design new web-based applications and features.Provide consultation and implementation of designs for new and existing web sites.Coordinate and oversee web marketing initiatives, utilizing platforms such as Google Ads across all CADA websites.Monitor web traffic for optimization and analysis. Utilize Google Analytics for data collection and analysis.Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.Incorporate SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.Create and maintain documentation for web infrastructure and applications, including standard operating procedures and user manuals.Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and trends and recommend ways to incorporate these into the organization's web presence.Work with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of web-based projects.Participate in project planning, estimating, and scoping activities to ensure the timely and successful delivery of web-based projects.Provide training to new staff and student workers as needed.Minimum Qualifications Required

Bachelor Degree within Computer Science or closely related field of studyMinimum 1 years of professional IT experience within IT Development which includes demonstrated experience in developing and/or modifying new and existing applications, including requirement analysis, design, code, test, debug, implementation and maintenance.Bachelor Degree within Computer Science or closely related field of studyMinimum 1 years of professional IT experience within IT Development which includes demonstrated experience in developing and/or modifying new and existing applications, including requirement analysis, design, code, test, debug, implementation and maintenance.

1+ years of professional experience in IT Development / Web, including experience with Drupal and WordPress websites.Experience with front-end development technologies and methodologies.Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Experience working with version control systems such as Git.Experience with website performance optimization and website security best practices.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.To Apply:
