About the RoleThe SR Manager of AP Field Program and Communications is responsible for leading all Field Asset Protection Programs, Communication & Processes, AP Awareness & Talent Management Strategies that aligns the Gap Inc. and Field AP Strategy; with the purpose that efforts directly support Field AP, Gap Inc AP, and Stores. This position directs the development of content and maintains the Field Programs e.g., Brand Protection, Safety/Shortage and Engagement/Recognition Programs. This position also plays a key role in the Field AOP and the supports development and efforts to increase AP Awareness and promote store safeness. Leads AP team development programs and strategies. This position leads the Project Manager of Protection Operations. This team is the main AP Liaison to SSO/Brand Operations and advises on risk for all policy, procedures, events, projects, and tests. They coordinate with the Gap Inc. AP COE and business partners to create and establish companywide awareness and training on Emergency Preparedness, Active Threat, De-escalation Response, Equality & Belonging and supports AP Team development. This team is also responsible for the development of future and ongoing AP Programs and Communication Platforms and system administration. They support efforts related to community and operational compliance. Directs team through the management of multiple projects (including adhoc) with responsibility of coordinating efforts between various centers of excellences, functional departments, corporate, and stores. Manages all AP translation, design, and illustration needs.What You'll Do

Drives AP Strategy (LRP and Short Term) integration into all Programs, efforts, and brand elements, and maintains a strong connection to goals and desired outcomes.

Research Industry trends and collect customer insights to adjust strategy as needed.

Directs and manages the creation and management of all AP Field Safety, Shortage, and Engagement/Recognition Programs.

Directs and manages the Field AP Awareness and Communication Programs and content development.

Coordinates and manages all Field AP Team Development initiatives.

Leads the content creation and build for all AP Meetings/Conferences and presentations. Including but not limited to (AP Zone Director, (SR) RAPM, Area APM, APSR FLT, SLT, Field and Brand leadership conferences.

Supports Gap Inc. strategic programs and system efforts.

Influences and supports the AP Department Workload Processes.

Leads all AP Equality and Belonging Programs in partnership with Gap Inc AP.

Leads all AP Training Video/Multi-media collaboration and efforts.

Sources innovation to improve communication and team efficiencies. Builds infrastructure to maintain platform.

Ensures AP Partnership in all SSO/Brand Operations decisions around policy, procedures, test, initiatives, projects, events, and major workstreams. Ensures AP is advising on safety and risk.

Proven track record of executing strategic efforts successfully

Superior Project Management skills with the ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and execute to project deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail.

Creative, outside of the box, solution-oriented track record

Ability to coach and influence at all levels.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Customer Service oriented.

Advanced experience in varying communication platforms and systems e.g., Canva, Zipline, Sharepoint, Smartsheet, Video Editing, PowerPoint, Creative Content Platform Experience, and etc.

5-7+ Years relevant experience. Retail and Asset Protection experience essential

College Degree Preferred

Travel Required (Up to 15%)
