is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising program, as well as the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns to bolster recruitment and expand our active community.

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the organization’s annual revenue goalsIdentify and cultivate major gift prospects, as well as corporate and foundation donorsDevelop and implement various grant proposalsPlan and execute special events that engage donors and raise funds for the organizationDevelop and execute effective donor communications and marketing materialsWork closely with the Board of Directors and Artistic Director to develop fundraising strategies and goalsMonitor and analyze fundraising data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as neededMarketing & Recruitment

Serve as a subject matter expert for all organization communication strategies and social mediaEnsure the successful planning, strategy, and implementation of marketing initiatives to increase enrollmentDevelop content for marketing and social media purposes as well as for direct mail campaignsResponsible for overall branding, recruitment campaigns and initiatives to increase enrollmentDevelop a PR strategy and work closely with contractors on design and print for all aspects of the organization,as well as working with ticketing providers and maintaining marketing listsWhat you bring to the role:

A Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, marketing, or a related fieldA minimum of 3 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising and marketingExperience developing creative and effective design and marketing to build brand profile and heighten organizational visibilityKnowledge of and proven success in marketing best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write compelling communications and marketing materialsExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail with a keen eye for copy editing and proofreadingExperience with fundraising software and donor/CRM databasesProficiency in MailChimp, Adobe CS, WordPress, digital media including WordPress and social media platformsComfortable with Google and social media analyticsA professional and welcoming demeanor that makes you comfortableinteracting with stakeholders from diverse backgroundsA deep commitment to the mission and values of our organization
