We see graphic design as the ability to combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images, words and compelling layouts in multiple media, both digital and print. As such, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented, Mac-based Graphic Designer to join our Global Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will assist the team in developing high-quality visual presentations by designing graphic renderings and copy layouts for use by our global sales and marketing teams. The Graphic Designer will report to the Manager, Graphic Design, and will be a core member of CST’s Design team.Please include your portfolio and/or a link to access it with your application.You'll have the opportunity to...Collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Scientific Writers/Editors and/or Regional Marketers to determine the scope of assigned graphic design projects and the resulting deliverables.The Graphic Designer is responsible for the development, creation, application, and maintenance of professional-quality, graphic-focused, print and digital projects. This includes:Management and interpretation of incoming graphic design requests and communication with stakeholders to align on project requirements and expectationsAdvising on campaign strategies to help reach intended audiencesCreating graphics that help conceptualize product placement and/or convey a messageDeveloping graphics and audio/visual materials, for both digital and print mediaDevelop collateral that adheres to and promotes our corporate brand identity, including, but not limited to:Sales & Marketing material (e.g. flyers, brochures, catalogs, direct mailers, posters, print/online advertisements), and Training aids (e.g. product launches, presentations, sales support materials)Trade show material (booth design, banner displays & posters, handouts, coupons & promotional giveaway items)Packaging design (product containers, product sleeves, labels, mailing envelopes)Web content & digital media (landing pages, email blast designs, banner ads, video)Corporate identity material (stationery, business cards, presentation templates, media kits, logo design)Support of internal clients with projects requiring design input (Executives, HR, Corporate Environmental and Social Responsibility, Scientists/Researchers)Who you are and what you bring to the team...Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communications and/or Marketing. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experiencePortfolio demonstrating range of work experiences and design capabilities across multiple media3+ years of experience designing both print and digital materialsMac-proficientStrong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)Experience with four-color printing process including preparing print files and overseeing press checksExperience with marketing automation softwareAbility to create and execute projects from start to finish with minimal supervisionAbility to use existing and developing designs to execute projects that align with the look and feel of our brandStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work with multiple teams, across departments and international regionsWillingness to attend several in-person work sessions and company events per yearStrong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to meet tight deadlinesCreative flair, originality, and strong visual senseConfidence to present and explain ideas to colleaguesIdeally, you have...Experience on an in-house design teamKnowledge of Adobe Premiere or comparable video editing softwareExperience with designing technical content for a scientific audienceExperience developing engaging scientific illustrationsWhat We Offer....At Cell Signaling Technology (CST) we recognize that people will always be our most important asset.
