STV views graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer , to join our Buildings Group’s Marketing Communications team. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to adapt STV’s style and layout to various proposal submittals, brochures or presentations. This position will be located in our Boston, MA or New York, NY office. This role is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office).

ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Senior Graphics Designer and Marketing Director, work with the Buildings Marketing Communications team to develop marketing and proposal materialsProvide graphical support for the preparation of proposals, internal and external presentations, and other marketing collateral adhering to corporate brand guidelinesCreate charts, tables, infographics, schedules, and other visual elements to supplement descriptions and writeupsWork independently, as well as collaboratively with the marketing team to meet internal and external milestones and deadlines, which may include multiple simultaneous assignmentsCollaborate with multiple teams across the firm and take written or spoken ideas or concepts and convert them into designsTranslate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity and protect the brandingObtain input from the team to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent our firm, its internal and external clientsUtilize graphic, video and web-based design tools to produce innovative and compelling marketing materialsContinuously seeks out new trends and software design applicationsExamine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that elevate design capabilitiesLeverage best practices for content management

Required Skills And QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related disciplineProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) with expertise in PowerPointA portfolio showcasing samples of work productsExpert knowledge of current design software and skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliveryAbility to adapt existing corporate branding standards to new designsUp to three (3) or more years of experienceExperience working on proposals within the AEC industry is preferredExcellent communication and presentation skillsOrganizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate expectations in order to meet deadlinesCollaborate effectively with teams from concept to executionAbility to work overtime and travel as neededExceptional creativity and innovative design skills with desire to stay up to date on latest design trendsKnowledge of video editing software preferred

Compensation Range

$57,779.00 - $75,506.00
