Position Summary:

The Brand Marketing Manager at Sonic exemplifies our core values and builds brand authority and equity for Sonic. This role will be a strategic partner to the Director and oversees the brand management for Sonic (B2C and B2B). This includes Sonic’s brand identity and positioning, internal communications, customer lifecycle, and working in partnership with the Marketing Director to plan and build effective marketing strategies.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position.

Travel:Limited travel

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This is a leadership role on the Sonic Marketing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop content and maintain the company’s brand identity and positioning, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Manage and maintain the company website in partnership with design and web teams.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to build and fulfill resource needs while maintaining brand standards.

Plan and execute brand efforts aimed to increase brand awareness to help reach company goals, including promotional activities, partnerships, sponsorships, and events.

Develop and execute PR initiatives to enhance the brand’s reputation.

Develop internal newsletters, announcements, and marketing updates sharing marketing progress and ongoing planned activities.

In partnership with internal teams, build, document, and improve Customer Experiences, including email/sms onboarding, referral programs, and Customer-facing tools.

Support Marketing Director in researching and developing competitive analysis and Go-to-Market plans.

Keep a pulse on consumer, market, cultural evolutions to identify opportunities for Sonic to create meaningful brand interactions and build relationships with our core audience.

Drive alignment and partner closely with cross-functional teams (web, creative, product marketing) to identify messaging opportunities and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.

Develop measurable KPIs and track performance of brand campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns and find new opportunity areas.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Experience:

6+ Years of experience in Brand Management.

Experience in planning and building relevant brand campaigns to build brand equity.

Knowledge for consumers, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience.

Skills:

Impeccable written communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to solve complex problems and creatively problem-solve.

Email Marketing, PR, and leading/working with creative teams and agencies.
