Thejuniordesigner will be responsible for designing and assembling the book jacket mechanicals so that they are reproducible for print and electronic usages. Each designer works on about 150 titles annually. Some front cover design work possible. This department services theAvid Reader, Scribner and S&Sart departments:
Requirements:
Must be proficient in Indesign & photoshop.
Must have strong typographic sensibility.
Must have an interest in books and reading.
Must be interested in print publishing.
Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
This role is also temp to perm, after conversion to permanent, the FT salary is $54,000.
