The Brand Content Strategist collaborates with Growth and Brand team to develop and implement integrated content for the PMA, including video, social media channels, advertisements, and website. The Brand Content Strategist connects with diverse communities through the support of artists and ideas that explore, contextualize, and resonate with the socio-political conditions of our time. The Brand Content Strategist will be an innovative leader in shaping the brand content vision for the institution's future.

Specifically, you will:

Work with a cross-departmental team to develop a strategic direction for overall engagement that is consistent with PMA’s core values.

Collaborate with the Marketing Team, Digital Content Strategist, Copywriter, and Interactive Project Manager to develop and execute a consistent content strategy across all channels.

Collaborate with Curatorial, Interpretation and Conservation staff to create engaging content that extends the visitor experience beyond the exhibition.

Conceptualize and direct on-trend, real-time execution of quick-turn deliverables in collaboration.

Build a creative strategy framework in collaboration with cross-functional teams to sustain and future-proof agile work.

Facilitate and participate in creative brainstorming sessions.

Manage content calendars, ensuring the timely and consistent delivery of content across various platforms.

Generate regular reports on key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Your background and experience include:

5-8 years of experience as a brand strategist at the advertisting agency or in-house.

A passion for using content creation and production to achieve objectives.

Strong initiative as an entrepreneurial thinker taking independent actions and calculated risks.

Strong proficiency in social platforms.

Experience in running advertising campaigns.

Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively manage external relationships.

Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment and work well under pressure.

Self-starter who can work on their own with minimal guidance and always with a view to achieving objectives.

Skilled at analyzing data, deriving insights, and building creative output.

Position and Compensation Details

The salary for this position is $75000 - $80,050.

This position is Full-Time, Exempt and 35 hours per week.

This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Physical requirements:

Able to remain stationary for extended periods of time, to utilize computers and other office equipment required of this job, to perform physically administrative duties in a typical interior office environment, gallery, or exhibit space, and to access most public and staff areas of the museum campus.

Background check required after a conditional job offer is made. Consideration of the background check will be tailored to the requirements of the job.
