is seeking an experienced
Graphics Designer
to support the Office of Community Orientated Policing Services (COPS) in Washington, DC. In this position, you will provide mostly remote but some onsite print graphic design support.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist in the design, layout, and production of a wide variety of project types (primarily print) from posters and brochures to periodicals and multipage books, adhering to COPS Office graphic design standards.
Work closely with graphic designers and editors on existing and new projects.
Work with authors and project managers to make creative recommendations on appropriate sizing, binding, photos, color, and design schemes to maximize final product market appeal.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office products in a PC environment.
Web experience and knowledge of HTML are a plus
Coursework or certificate from an accredited academic institution and one year full-time experience, preferably onsite in a corporate or government environment
Design portfolio

Candidates MUST have U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain citizenship and MUST be able to pass a government background investigation. Candidate will not be able to work until clearance has been obtained.
