Graphic Designer

We are looking for creative Graphic Designers with the ability to interpret our client needs and to design high quality solutions. The Graphic Designer is responsible for following through on all client graphics orders and will help with volume copying. In addition to effective conceptualization abilities, strong design skills, and technical expertise, the Graphic Designer must be highly collaborative by nature and must have demonstrated strengths in graphics design, project management, and communication.Responsibilities:· Prepare and assemble images and illustrative material and copy and manage layout for publication· Develop creative concepts and build graphic solutions for clients· Prepare/complete the creative concepts, graphic design, pre-press work, and technical specifications necessary to complete projects· Complete pre-press set up in Adobe based platforms (Acrobat InDesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop) for both Mac and PC· Communicate effectively with clients· Develop and maintain accurate client files based on production work flow· Produce/design, proofs, and update materials for client projects· Develop as a team player and is critical to the production process· Consistently follow up on production activity using various communication methods (telephone, email, etc.)Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in visual communication, graphic design, or a related field· Two years of experience in graphic design or in the print industry· Must submit portfolio· Skills in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing· Full mastery of various software design programs including Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for both Mac and PC.· Strong computer and internet skills· Ability to manage and optimize workload, prioritize multiple projects, and streamline the production flow· Extreme attention to detail in design work· Skills in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing· An energetic self-starter attitude· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Neat, clean, and professional appearanceJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Graphic Design: 3 years (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: In person
