Strategic Accounts Communications Program Manager, Strategic Accounts

Amazon, San Francisco, California, United States, 94199

Description

Amazon Web Services has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. AWS offers over 200 fully featured services to millions of active customers around the world—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—to power their infrastructure. At AWS Central Technology, we are customer obsessed and passionate about revolutionizing and advancing our customer’s journey to the cloud.

Join a creative, diverse, and fun team who consistently delivers results. We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed, executive and employee communications manager to help effectively communicate the organization’s strategy and vision to our customers, employees, and stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic communications, content, and events for the Central Technology team, including the planning quarterly all-hands, development of strategic messaging for internal and external presentations, building communications strategies in support of major initiatives, and providing editorial and writing support for significant business initiatives.

You work across business functions, regions and all levels of the organization to make sure our employees are a top of mind audience. You actively listen and employ data to craft what—and how—we communicate, shape, and amplify content to inform the AWS Industries team. We host events and forums to engage and inspire employees to create the best employee experience. We discover new ways to inform and entertain them, too.

This role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work backwards from ambiguous requirements to generate clear, concise communications – requiring frequent engagement with AWS leadership. In your career you must have demonstrated successful executive presence, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence others. The right candidate is extremely data-driven, thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and has proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the qualifications and skills listed in the 8 description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying.
