The Developer Marketing, Technology and Education (MET) team in the Amazon Devices organization is looking for a web marketing manager to help drive awareness and adoption of our products and services among developers. You will be an advocate for our developer customers and create friction-less experiences for them. Our developers create engaging experiences for customers on Amazon Fire TV and Fire tablets, Amazon Appstore for Android, and Alexa enabled voice skills. Our mission is to ensure we are providing engaging and user-friendly content to our developers while driving increased adoption.

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, improve discoverability and maintain effective use of website as a primary channel for marketing campaigns. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams such as your fellow marketing managers, MarTech, Engineering, and Product Marketing, to develop and execute digital campaigns that align with the program goals and objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing website performance to ensure maximum visibility and conversion rates. As a key member of the MET team, your ability to interpret analytics and recommend optimization plan is vital. This position requires a unique blend of creativity, technical skills, hands-on appetite, and strategic thinking to effectively promote a company's products or services in the digital space. Success for this role will require strong program management, high attention to detail, and being results-oriented and customer-centric in your approach.

As the ideal candidate, you have a strong passion for creating highly-engaged communities for B2B end users. Deep experience across B2B social media and blog platforms is a plus and experience ramping up on various digital web and marketing platform technologies is preferred. You love creating process and ensuring accuracy. You are deeply analytical in your approach and obsess over constantly improving customer experiences by leveraging quantitative and qualitative inputs.

Key job responsibilities

Own marketing landing pages, content publishing, and implementation

Own end to end web and SEO channel strategy. Partner with internal teams to implement engaging content and create reporting to measure developer engagement and proposals for improving the developer experience. Includes focus on acquisition, awareness, and retention.

Partner closely with MarTech and engineering to define and develop information architecture to support major releases/ launches.

Create and update site content and provide quality assurance (QA). Responsible for proactively identifying site issues (i.e. linking), and creating work back plans to optimize.

Own performance measurement of web analytics to provide internal stakeholders with recommendations to increase engagement.

Provide performance recaps on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with key insights for optimization. Includes generating insights to inform strategy and measure performance of marketing programs.

Develop comprehensive testing and experimentation plans for targeted audience group using web targeting tools. Report on output and continuous optimization to ensure quality developer engagements

Assist in driving customer satisfaction by working with the customer research team and execution studies to provide an actionable feedback loop for site content.

Research the competitive landscape and identify gaps and needs for optimizations across the site and marketing channels

Own relationship with stakeholder teams to help identify site and marketing needs and lead end to end support for managed marketing channels.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

Hands on experience managing website using enterprise level CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager

Experience using quantitative and analytical skills to generate insights to inform strategy and measure performance of marketing programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

Experience with CRM platforms, customer data management, audience definition and campaign implementation

Experience with digital marketing channels, such as Email, Social, Search (SEM & SEO), blog Management

Hands on experience with Adobe Suite, Analytics, Target, Experience Manager is a strong plus

Proficiency in search and related tools (e.g Google analytics, semrush, SEOptimer, BrightEdge)

Ability to learn new software and technology tools quickly.

Experience with Salesforce Tools, such as Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
