Metric5 is seeking a Proposal Writer to join our growth team. We are looking for a creative and driven candidate who has excellent communications skills, a strong customer service orientation and is experienced in leading winning solutions for growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will provide written support for the pursuit of new work reflecting Metric5's capabilities, solution specification/design, and creative solutioning for opportunities and customers.

About the Role of the Proposal WriterMetric5 is a rapidly growing firm in the Federal market. Our growth is powered by the energy and excellence of our team. The Proposal Writer requires an understanding of our core customers, the services and capabilities that we bring to the market, and to pursue and win business through written and presentation materials, responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other customer engagements.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Provide thought leadership and technical support to assist business development and delivery programs in retaining and growing both new and current work.Development of key documents for proposals and customers including, but not limited to past performance summaries, technical approach write ups, architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, etc.Synthesize and collect experience from the delivery teams into compelling written service offerings that we can market to new clients.Collaborate with the Growth Team to understand customer strategic planning initiatives and intent.Respond in writing to technical questions and research requests from the Growth team and programs.Perform business case analysis to support decision-making processes.Build & maintain relationships with key vendor partners to incorporate technology & capabilities.Required Qualifications:

3+ years of demonstrable capability to write effective responses to Government RFI's, RFPs, and other requests.5+ years working in the Federal Government contracting environment.Ability to communicate effectively, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external business partners.Ability to document existing and new processes.Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives.Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team.Ability to identify and/or document existing and new trends, as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, communication, or analytics
