About the Role:

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing Analytics & Planning, this role will spearhead the development of marketing strategies for our consumer brands, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and MarketWatch across diverse channels with a primary focus on product bundles. As a key driver of our growth initiatives, you will concentrate on maximizing acquisition opportunities, aligning organizational efforts to achieve goals such as enhancing high-quality organic traffic and driving digital subscription growth.

This seasoned data science professional will lead the development and implementation of data-driven marketing strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and insights. They will optimize performance through Dynamic Pricing, utilize digital analytics tools such as Adobe and GA4, employ media mix models to drive strategy ,allocate media budgets and enhance overall marketing effectiveness

Responsibilities:

Data-driven Marketing Strategies: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large volumes of customer data, including demographic information, transactional data, online behavior, and social media data. Derive actionable insights to execute strategies that drive customer growth and revenue across channelsDevelop Test & Learn: Drive a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making, testing different approaches to acquisitions and engagement. Analyze campaign performance data and metrics to optimize strategies continuously.Forecasting and Budgeting : Collaborate closely with marketing and finance teams to monitor performance against budgets. Develop multiple sensitivity scenarios to aid senior leadership in strategic planningAcquisition Funnel Optimization: Analyze user journey and identify opportunities to optimize acquisition funnel, improving conversion rates and maximize engagement.Segmentation and Targeting: Develop segmentation strategies to categorize customers into groups that indicate a higher likelihood of interest in product bundles vs standalone and recommend actionable insightsData Infrastructure and Technology: Collaborate with data engineering teams to establish and maintain robust data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security. Evaluate and implement appropriate data science tools, platforms, and technologies to streamline processes and enhance data-driven marketing and Automated Pricing capabilities.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and finance, to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Present insights and recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

You Have:

10+ years experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on subscription mediaDegree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.Strong proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), experience using media mix models and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.Expertise in data-driven decision-making, with hands-on experience in leveraging data to optimize campaign performanceStrong expertise in advanced analytics, data mining, forecasting, and predictive analytics.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, along with experience in working with large-scale databases and data manipulation.Deep understanding of marketing principles, customer segmentation strategies, and digital marketing channels.Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
