The opportunity

Adobe.com is one of the most trafficked sites in the world, with trillions of visits to over a million pages every year. Adobe.com's Enterprise UX team designs and delivers cohesive and beautiful user journeys to enterprise and business prospects and customers across Adobe.com.

We're looking for a strong UX design leader with strong design system experience to join us.

Do you understand how to implement a full design system? Are you a passionate bridge builder who can talk to designers, engineers, web authors, and product managers in language they understand? Can you demonstrate how you've used using systems-thinking to solve problems? If so, we'd love to talk to you.

What you'll doManage a team of designers to establish the future vision for our systemDrive design excellence and contribute to setting the standard for design at our companyCollaborate with designers, content strategists, and researchers to optimize the system in Figma, including developing standard processes for building and using componentized patternsSupport the UX/Web Design Teams and dev/engineering teams, across multiple CMS environmentsWork closely with product managers to ensure what we're building is usableHelp development teams engineer components by ensuring they are engineered according to design and interaction specificationsWork with designers to maintain the system as well as create and update documentationHelp establish design standards and principles for scalability, efficiency, and consistencyEvaluate and improve usability and accessibility of components and be a champion for the userImprove the design to development handoff processSupervise UX research that is relevant to building the design systemParticipate in our design communityWhat you need to succeed

10+ years' experience in product or Web UX design.5+ years' experience leading design teamsSignificant experience developing design systems in Figma. Experience working in other large scale design systems like Polaris given strong considerationExperience working with front-end development and/or engineering teamsStrong design sensibilities with experience in UX design, web marketing design, and visual designA consistent track record and portfolio of solid experience design and strategy that meet user needs, website requirements, and business goalsStrong experience design skills using diverse thinking, from the basics to strategic design thinkingExpert skills in design products such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, FigmaDeep knowledge of UX/UI patterns and principlesExperience designing web experiences for SaaS productsDrive and passion for improving user experience and usability of complex problemsFlexibility to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design processExperience creating innovative and accessible digital interface design solutions for responsive websitesComfort in designing and running user testing and other qualitative customer validationStrong interpersonal, written and presentation communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $123,200 -- $249,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
