Job Overviewstarpower is seeking a Director, Marketing & Communications to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing starpower's market presence and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for pop culture and a proven track record in creating and executing effective marketing strategies that help drive new opportunities and business growth. You will be responsible for generating new marketing opportunities, securing media engagements, and establishing thought leadership across industry platforms.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Marketing Development

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase starpower's visibility and attract new clients.Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities that align with the agency's goals and objectives.Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling narratives and campaigns that highlight starpower's unique value proposition.Media Relations & Thought Leadership

Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets to secure interviews, features, and coverage for starpower.Position starpower's executives and experts as thought leaders in industry-relevant publications and forums.Coordinate and oversee participation in industry panels, conferences, and events to enhance starpower's reputation and influence.Award Submissions & Capabilities Development

Lead the preparation and submission of award nominations to showcase starpower's achievements and industry impact.Develop and refine capabilities decks, presentations, and other marketing collateral to support business development efforts.Ensure all marketing materials are aligned with starpower's brand voice and strategic goals.Client & Market Engagement

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.Engage with current and potential clients through targeted marketing initiatives, networking events, and promotional campaigns.Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust tactics as needed to achieve desired outcomes.This position is a perfect fit for you if:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the pop culture, entertainment, or media industry.Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and media strategies.Strong network of media contacts and established relationships with industry.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range:

$115,000.00-130,000.00This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to workexperience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
