Responsibilities Job Description

The Digital Content Strategist and Copywriter role will be part of the Digital Design Studio that is dedicated to growing the strength of the M Health Fairview brand, as well as its share of patients served by a specific service line or coping with a specific disease state.

They will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organization’s content strategy across various digital platforms. You will be responsible for crafting compelling and informative copy by soliciting information from our service lines to tell the story of what sets us apart and how we care for our patients.

Manage and ensure that content is timely, relevant, accurate, and positively reflects the brand by establishing a content calendar and audit process.

Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, web usability and business/industry trends

Generate content strategy and new content development appropriate for the brand requirements and is optimized for search engines (SEO) to improve organic traffic.

Works seamlessly with all business units to educate and deliver content strategy within sound marketing standards and best practices.

Ability to deeply understand a target audience’s needs, tasks, and goals, and translate those needs into creative concepts and functional components

Inform site mapping, content hierarchy in wireframes and prototyping for websites, marketing landing pages, news blogs, tool applications and more

Builds and manages the digital content roadmap, content calendar, documents, and reports

Works in an Agile model and partners with service line team to oversee qualitative/quantitative content auditing, gap analysis, analytics research, keyword and search findings, competitive assessments, market research, user and stakeholder interviews

Creates and maintains detailed documentation on findings, recommendations, practices and processes.

Qualifications

Required

BS or BA degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of 7 years of experience deploying content for online or other digital media

8-10 years of experience with Content development and Production

Proficiency in SEO best practices and tools (SemRush, Google Search Console, etc)

Strong and demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution

Proven track record of accountability and delivering compelling, customer-focused, high-quality content on time and with quality

Experience developing content solutions for large enterprise web sites or applications, especially customer-facing and action-focused interfaces

Experience and knowledge of content marketing activities, SEO/SEM, editorial planning, audience profiling

Strong analytical and planning abilities ensuring attention to detail.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong ability to solicit information from others to produce the copy your product needs

Preferred

· Retail, Consumer, digitally-native brands/categories

· Experience in a creative, digitally-driven agency or marketing group is a plus
