Designer, Brand ExperienceNew York Based but will consider other locations across all US time zones.The Burson Brand Experience (BX) Studio is growing, and we are seeking a designer with an entrepreneurial mindset to take our new business, experiential, and internal design capabilities to the next level.You will join a deep and talented team with a diverse set of skills that delivers unique and exciting presentation and experiential solutions that work hand in hand to not only differentiate a brand from a creative perspective but also to speak to the target audience in an authentic way, delivering a thought-provoking brand experience that resonates long after.As part of the Burson BX Studio you will work with top executives, creative directors, account managers, and strategists to communicate complex ideas in a simple and elegant way. You will collaborate on the design of new business proposals, thought leadership engagements and client projects, leveraging experiential, graphic, and presentation design to tell clear and interesting stories that are powerful and persuasive in the physical, digital, and human space.Our team’s goal with every project is to bring the brand experience to life, delivering outstanding design and innovation across presentations, print, digital, and all experiential brand touchpoints.The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset with the ability to tell engaging and unique stories, feel comfortable speaking the language of business, stay on top of the latest design and experiential trends, and work effectively under tight deadlines.Responsibilities:Create and execute high-impact presentations in alignment with brand and agency standardsProvide on site setup and breakdown for eventsServe as a standard bearer for client’s brand messaging and identity, maintaining the quality of design throughout all phases of the projectCollaborate across creative disciplines and teams, including with Copywriters, Experience Designers, Art Directors, and StrategistsWork closely with project managers to establish delivery timelines and processArticulate and present creative ideas to teams and clientsAttend brainstorms with stakeholders around the network to bring creative ideas to lifeShape unique experiences for prospects and clientsTravel with the team to design on-site in a war room environmentAttend team rehearsals and make on-the-fly changesMultitask, delegate, and manage time effectively under pressure while juggling multiple projects to meet deadlinesQualifications (Experience that contributes to your success):3+ years of relevant design experience in presentation, web, print, or digitalExperience in a professional advertising/marketing environment preferredStrong interest in, and desire to learn more about, experiential/event planningPossesses excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to go along with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end presentation design skills (i.e. animation, builds, dynamic charts and diagrams) and clean design aestheticHas an in-depth understanding of PowerPoint, Google Slides, and KeynoteIs proficient with Adobe Creative Suite with the illustration skills necessary to create icons, infographics, and more as needed for presentationsThrives in a dynamic and open environment that involves rapid iteration and pivoting working styles between collaborative and individual workIs self-motivated, detail-oriented, and works well independently or in a team environmentHas a flexible schedule, allowing for evening and weekend work when necessaryDesire to work in a diverse and inclusive organization as an active participant in culture initiatives, training opportunities and employee resource groups.Perks of working at Burson:Paid time off for vacation, sick and personal days, as well as Summer Fridays and a Flexible Holiday Policy with 9 paid holidays annually.
